Darul-Imaan Hosseinieh Foundation was established in 1999 by the help of the local Shia community and support from Shia Organisations. It is the only Shia Ithna Asharia Imambargha (Masjid) in the area.
The aim of the Mosque is to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Bristol by advancing education and providing facilities in improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.
Facilities include: Kitchen- Men Prayer Hall – Ladies Prayer Hall and Mortuary.

Lectures in English and Urdu are held at the Centre in the first 10 days of Muharram to commemorate the Martyrdom of the Grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Imam Hussain (a.s) in the event tragic event of Karbala 61 A.H.
Celebration of the Birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Celebration of the Birth of the Twelve Holy Imams (as) as well as the Holy Women of Islam.
The Holy Month of Ramadan
Daily Lectures throughout the month of Ramadan by a religious scholar and Prayers and vigil on all special nights of Ramadan.
Jashan-e-Wilayat (Eid Al-Ghadeer) & Jashan Al-Mubahala.
Annual event to mark the occasion of Last Sermon on 18th Zil Hajj delivered by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) at the plain of Ghadeer Khum.
