The Zahra Trust is a UK Registered Charity established in 2008. Since its establishment, The Zahra Trust has provided millions of people across hundreds of communities throughout the world with relief and development aid. Driven by the virtues of Islam and inspired by the Holy Household (a.s), The Zahra Trust aims to alleviate sufferings, poverty and disadvantages as a result of conflict, natural disaster and discrimination.
Our aim is to provide aid that is impactful, making individuals and communities self-sufficient so that they are no longer required to rely on aid and assistance.
Our expert teams are on the ground across our areas of operation throughout the years and we are ready to respond to those that are in urgent need.

OUR MISSION
The Zahra Trust’s mission is to aid those suffering from war, poverty and famine, by providing basic philanthropic needs, enabling them to survive and making them self-sustainable so that they will no longer require aid.[۱]
What we do
Provide emergency aid to those in need as a result of conflict and natural disasters
Provide seasonal aid throughout key periods such as Ramadhan, Eid ul-Adha and Muharram
Provide food aid to families that experience a chronic lack of access to nutritional food items
Empower communities through education and development programmes
Facilitate access to quality healthcare and medication for those that are unable to afford it
Support the institution of the family through the provision of welfare, easing the burden of breadwinners to provide
